Today (24 Oct 2024), Mr. Somkid Chuekong, Deputy Secretary-General to the Prime Minister, spoke about the case of the Criminal Court for Corruption and Misconduct Cases Region 1, which sentenced Mr. Chan Phuangphet, former president of the Pathum Thani Provincial Administrative Organization, and his associates to prison in the case of corruption in the procurement of relief bags and the Tak Bai case, which will expire on 25 Oct., whether this will affect the confidence of the Pheu Thai Party or not. He said that the case of Mr. Chan is a personal matter and he thinks that there will be no problem. In this matter, Uncle Chan must take responsibility for himself in demonstrating his qualifications.
